Typically, when you don't have enough money in an account to cover a withdrawal or transaction, this results in an overdraft.
Example: Jasmine's non-Bridge bank account has a $10 balance and Jasmine tries to spend $12 via card. Not only will Jasmine have a negative balance (overdraft), but Jasmine may receive an "overdraft fee" that many banks impose.
At Bridge, members cannot enable overdraft and as a result, won't be charged an overdraft fee. If an attempt is made to make a withdrawal or purchase in excess of the funds available in your account, you won't be able to complete your transaction and will be advised to fund your account.
